CBridge

The official opening is next week-end but the ramp going unto the
island of Montreal opened on the Champlain bridge, yesterday. Looks
nice. I know Lyse and her friend were going back yesterday afternoon.
The Champlain bridge is the busiest in Canada, with 50 million crossings
per year.

I remember inaugurating the previous bridge, when it first opened. Boyfriend
and I were in a red sportscar with the top down. There was virtually no one
on the bridge and I told him to let her rip. He did! We were picked up by the cops
on the other side but let off with a warning and a grin. On thinking back, maybe
the patrol car driver had enjoyed his romp on the bridge as well!
